Lasercleaning makes industrial cleaning more efficient
Lasercleaning is the method to permanently clean surfaces from rust, deposits, soot, graffiti or other pollution. We can go to the molecular level with laser cleaning, which means that the cleaning is almost perfect. But how exactly does it work... We try to explain it here.
How does lasercleaning work?
We all know a laser beam as a thin red beam of light coming from a laser pointer. However, laser beams can also exist in other colors or even in a light frequency that is no longer visible to the human eye. This kind of “invisible” laser is used for laser cleaning.
The fine point of light can therefore cause a strong heating of the material on which it shines in a very short time. In concrete terms, this means that you can bring a metal to the melting point and even to the vaporization point in a fraction of a second.
The nice thing about this way of cleaning is that we can really make the difference between pollution and the underlying layer down to the molecular level. So you get an almost perfect cleaning.
By playing with the power, but also with the length of the pulses, the path of the beam and some other parameters, we can find an optimal setting for removing almost any kind of rust, oxidation, paint layer, coating, etc. on most metal, stone and even wood surfaces.

- With laser clearing you can clean surfaces without damaging the surface or parts
- Laser cleaning means cleaning without residue, water or waste. So sustainable and environmentally conscious.
- Effective removal of pollution, graffiti, rust, salts, paint, varnish, coatings, etc.
- Laser clearing does not use any chemicals or abrasives
Also works great for machines and machine parts without having to remove them. - Laser cleaning can be done at your location, so that nuisance is kept to a minimum and no transport is required.
